A Main Panel Upgrade (MPU) is a service where your existing electrical breaker box is upgraded to a new one with new electrical circuit breakers.

An MPU may be needed if the breakers in your electrical breaker box aren’t able to handle the additional electrical load provided or electrical breakers are outdated.

There are some older breaker boxes that are actually dangerous and they should be replaced to reduce the risk of an electrical fire in your structure.
